Don Roberto Bianchini was born in Castel Del Piano, on Monte Amiata, in 1967. After
the High school he completed academics studies in Pisa (Degree in Russian Literature) and,
after some years, he entered the seminary in Rome (Pontifical Roman Seminary
Maggiore) completing his philosophical and theological studies at the Gregorian University.
Became a priest in 2003, he served as parish priest of San Clemente in
Montelaterone (GR) until 2005 when he was called to Siena as Rector
of the Cappella Universitaria (Church of San Vigilio), a position he still holds. From the
2013 he is parish priest of San Martino and San Maurizio in Santo Spirito, succeeding Mons.
Salvatore Sacchitella, and since 2016 Rector of the Archbishopric of San
Christopher. For some years he was Corrector of the Noble Contrada dell'Aquila. At the moment he also teaches at the Istituto Superiore di Scienze Religiose of
Siena.
